Overview

I/O is a digital-physical UX project designed for employees in tech companies and co-working spaces. The system provides personalized visual-audio meditation experiences to help users recharge their energy during the workday, adapting to their emotional state and daily workload.

The Challenge

Tech employees and co-working professionals experience intense workloads, leading to burnout, reduced creativity, and increased stress. The challenge was to develop a seamless and effective recharging experience that enhances well-being without disrupting work productivity.

Project Goals
  • Create a personalized meditation experience that integrates sound and visual elements.Utilize data-driven insights to tailor experiences based on the user’s workday.Develop a smart digital interface for effortless energy management.





  • The Solution
    We developed an interactive system housed within a geodesic dome, merging technology, science, and meditation. The system analyzes user data to deliver a tailored energy-recharging experience, offering three 
    unique modes:

    1. User Research

    • Conducted interviews with tech employees to identify common energy fatigue triggers.

    • Created onboarding flows to personalize the experience using real-time data.
    • Developed wireframes and prototypes simulating the interaction with the system.


    3. UI Design & Visual Language Development

    • Designed dynamic animations integrated with movement and natural rhythms.
    • Used geometric fractals and fluid simulations for an immersive meditative effect.
    • Developed a color-coded system matching different energy states.


    4. Usability Testing & Optimization

    • Conducted user testing in tech offices to evaluate the effectiveness of the experience.
    • Gathered feedback to optimize animations, sound synchronization, and data-driven personalization.
